Interaction patterns: An approach for enhancing students’ retention in geometric construction

The effect of interaction patterns on JS3 learners’ retention in geometric construction was investigated Anambra State, Nigeria. researchers used a quasi-experimental approach with non-equivalent control group for the pre- and post-test. population consisted 1,813 leaners. study’s subjects were 155 learners drawn from two schools. Two classes schools assigned to experimental groups at random. test (GCRT) collect data, it validated by three experts. reliability coefficient GCRT 0.80. mean standard deviation data report questions, whereas hypotheses tested via analysis covariance 0.05 level significance. According findings, students taught utilizing remembered more material than those using expository approach. It also found statistically significant difference between urban rural learners, favoring learners. location student not significant. One recommendation this study is that teachers should use as an instructional method when teaching construction.
